Admission Assessment
Interview Process
Students applying for admission into TBI will have two interviews. The Admission's Interview process
outlines a series of fair and objective methods for conducting interviews with perspective parents and
students wanting acceptance into The Beverly Institute. Initial interview for Individual academic
assessment and a concluding interview for all information gathered for enrollment. (recommendation
letters, transcript, report card, and essays)
New Student Probationary Period
All new students enrolling into The Beverly Institute (TBI) will be placed on a 45 day probationary
period (one-nine week period). This is to ensure that The Beverly Institute is right for the student and
the student is right for The Beverly Institute. During this probationary period the student behavior and
academics will be monitored. If the student is disruptive, and/or does not turn in work assignment in a
timely manner, and/or frequently breaks dress code violations, that student will be released from The
Beverly Institute.
Assessment Testing
All students new and returning will be required to take an assessment test at the beginning of each
school year. This is not a pass or fail test. This test is to help Administration with placement only.
Students wishing to attend The Beverly Institute will not be turned away because of low grades. Test
results can be reviewed during our first open house.
Behavior Problems
Students with a history of behavior problems associated with ADHD/ ADD will not be turned away.
During this probationary period the student's behavior and charter will be monitored. If the student is
disruptive; aggressively violent toward staff, teachers and/or students; frequent infringement of TBI
policies, that student will be released from The Beverly Institute.
Students with a disruptive behavior history based on previous school Discipline/ Character enrollment
form will be referred to the TBI Dean for an additional interview. This interview does not grantee
entrance into TBI. If perspective student is accepted into TBI they will be placed on a 1st quarter
probationary period. During this probationary period the student's behavior and charter will be
monitored. If Student receive 3 or more demerits they will be released from TBI.

their child's academic and behavior progress. The following functions are: Open House and Teacher /

function per quarter or have scheduled a teacher/parent meeting. Students who parents are not
involved or engage with their child's teacher will be released from The Beverly Institute.
