Admission Statement for Returning Students

Re-Enrollment
Each year during the month of February, re-enrollment for the fall term begins. Students are accepted
on a first-come, first-served basis.  Re-enrollment continues until all spots are filled. All application files
that are completed by the End of February will be evaluated at the same time. The Admission
Committee will make its decision by mid-April and offers of admission will be mailed at that time for
new school year. Applications received after February will be considered on a space available basis.

Interview Process
Students re-applying for admission into TBI will have a re-entry interview.  This interview is for
Individual academic assessment and to talk about any concerns and progress student has made during
the school year.  (recommendation letters, transcript, report card, and essays)

Application/ Registration Fee
Any registration after March, the fee is $ 75.00.  They must obtain the necessary enrollment forms
from the school office, complete and return them with the allotted time frame.  Enrollment is based
upon a first come, first served regardless of whether you are a new or returning student.

Teacher Recommendations
Teachers may recommend, to the school administration, students who should be put on probation or
student who should not return to TBI.  This recommendation may be based on one or more of the
following stipulations.

General negative attitudes toward other students, teachers, administration, or school
  • Lack of cooperation with the staff
  • Lack of desire of the things of God
  • Continuous lack of positive response to disciplinary measures
  • Insufficient academic progress because of uncompleted work assignments
  • Lack of parental support of the school and its staff
  • Continued unruly behavior or immorality

Assessment Testing
All students new and returning will be required to take an assessment test at the beginning of each
school year. This is not a pass or fail test. This test is to help Administration with placement only.   
Students wishing to attend The Beverly Institute will not be turned away because of low grades.  Test
results can be reviewed during our first open house.

Parent Involvement
Parents are required to attend  or participate in some type of school function that will inform them of
their child's academic and behavior progress. The following functions are: Open House and Teacher /
Parent Meetings. To guarantee your child's seat at The Beverly Institute parents must attend at least 1
function per quarter or have scheduled a teacher/parent meeting. Students who parents are not
involved or engage with their child's teacher will be released from The Beverly Institute.

Parent/ Student Orientation
Parents are required to attend Orientation Night. Only students with orientation passes will be allowed
on campus. Parent who are not in attendance will have to schedule a meeting with TBI Dean for
entrance into school.  After meeting students will be allowed admission into school.  

Parent Intimidation/ Bullying
Parents, friends or family members of TBI students found bullying or talking bad-mannered to any
teacher or staff member of The Beverly Institute will be asked to leave school campus and that student
will be released from The Beverly Institute.
Parent Intimidation at any level will not be
tolerated at The Beverly Institute.
