Policies and Procedures
Lunch is an enjoyable break in the day’s schedule. Common manners and courtesy must be
shown at all times. Students are required to pick up their trash. Any student who leaves an
unclean area will be required to assist in cleaning for the day.
Students 18 years or under are not permitted to have visitors meeting them between
classes, during lunch, or on the school grounds. Students will not be allowed to have guest on
campus for lunch unless visitor is a family member, or have approval from TBI Administration.

Discipline Procedures
If all of the students follow the cafeteria guidelines, there should be no need for the use of
these disciplinary procedures. However, if any student chooses not to follow the guidelines, the
following steps will be taken.

- I will talk quietly in the lunchroom.
- I will keep my hands to myself.
- I will not touch anyone’s food other than my own.
- I will be respectful to the cafeteria staff and Property.
- I will leave my area clean.
- Once seated I will raise my hand if I need to get up.

- Warning
- No talking or seat assignment
- Assigned to silent lunch table in the cafeteria
- Assigned lunch in classroom.
- Conference and/or silent lunch with Principal
