particular subject.

Current Event Grade: Students will complete 3 editorials
per grading period. It will count as a Homework, Quiz, and
Test grade.

What is a Current Event:
A Current Event is a summary of an article either from a
newspaper, magazine, or Internet.  After you read the article
you will summaries it into about 8-10 sentences (250
words).  You need to have a topic sentence.  

Then, you will in your own words tell me your opinion of the
article; this will be the second paragraph. (2-4 sentence)

Notebook Grade: Notebook grade counts as 1 homework
grade. Total (100 Points)

Portfolio Grade: Portfolio grade counts as 1 Test Grade
(200 points)
